Kiwi vs Gemini Spark: An Assistant That Lives in Your Messages

By Aneesh Modi ·

Gemini Spark is Google's personal AI agent. It works in the background around the clock and connects across your Google products. Kiwi is an assistant you text. It notices what needs doing at work, in your studies and at home, texts you first, and does it when you say yes.

The price

Spark comes with paid Google AI plans, in select countries. Kiwi is free to use, with no card needed, and noticing is always free.

Where it lives

Spark has its own tab in the Gemini app. Kiwi is a contact in your messages, so you answer it the way you answer a friend, with nothing new to open.

Beyond Google

Spark is at its strongest across Google's own products. Kiwi works with Gmail and Google Calendar too, and with Outlook, Slack, WhatsApp, Uber and many others. When there's no app for something, it uses the website for you.
